Recommendations for Grasmere/Hawkshead

I know I probably haven't got a hope in hell as most decent places will be booked but looking for any recommendations for either of the above areas for a romantic one night get away.
I'm not looking for a large hotel, more a small romantic cosy inn where we can go walking through the day and back in the evening for some decent above average food.
I have had a look online but would really appreciate some personal recommendations.

The Forest Side near Grasmere has a very good restaurant. I can imagine the rooms being romantic. Also try Rothay Garden - it’s got nice riverside gardens and the restaurant is fine dining.

Rothay Garden is lovely, it is a bigger hotel but feels small and intimate. The food is great and there are walks from the door.
