Nice cabin by a lake?

I've looked at canopy and stars and other websites that do similar accommodation.

I'd like a few nights in a cabin by a lake, lots by a river that's murky and definitely not one you'd want to paddle in!

Would prefer southwest area but not essential.

Does anyone know of where I can look? Thank you

They aren't right by a lake but Trawfynnydd Holiday Village (various letting agencies) are brilliant.

No I looked, I think lots of places will be full. I'd like a bit more secluded.

I wasn't planning on being murdered, but I bare it in mind

Have a google for holiday lets on Rudyard lake. It's near the Peak District, so nowhere near SW, but it is lovely, and one side of it has a stretch of cabins and cottages right at the water's edge - I think a lot of them are rented out as holiday cottages.
