So fingers crossed 🙏🤞 we should be going to Burnham on Sea next week Monday to Friday, anything anyone can suggest to do down there?

DD's are 3 and 8 and we are happy to travel up to an hour.. also any nice restaurants nearby to try?

We had a couple of lovely Sunday lunches here:

When we went we went on a seal boat trip thinking it was close by but actually it was the other side so took about an hour to drive there.

You have to have cake/tea at Coffee Cake and Curtains. It's a tea shop inside an upholstery shop and is very colourful and lovely. Along the coast is Wachet, which is nice. The Litton, which is north of Burnham and in land is very good for food. For a bit of woo, go to Glastonbury.

Puxton Park just off the M5 near Weston Super Mare is a good value day out, but you need to book in advance, especially if you want your DCs to use the soft play.

Wells is a lovely little city to walk around with a beautiful cathedral.

We liked the Shopping Outlet at Street, and if the weather is good, you could have a walk up Glastonbury Tor.

A bit further afield, how about Stonehenge or Bristol?

Have a great holiday!!
