Snowdonia, Walks, Views, Zipworld.... advice

Hi, I have never been to Snowdonia before and we are going for a couple of days soon. Has anyone been to Zip world? My kids are very keen on the sound of it.
Also looking for advice on what walks to go on (we're fairly fit) and possibly any pubs with beer gardens / outside eating.

We visited the Zip World Slate Caverns on our visit and experienced Titan and Bounce Below. Both are fantastic. Bounce Below is like nothing else, trampolining in a cave!
Right opposite the Slate Caverns is a mountain bike centre with a range of routes suitable for everyone. We didn’t manage to fit this in but it looked great and we’re already planning a visit.
Ride up on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which takes just an hour to reach the top!Booking for the railway is very much advised, as it can get sold out.
There is plenty to do at Caernarfon Castle. There is a children’s activity sheet provided which involves finding small plaques all around the castle. This kept ours fully entertained throughout our visit, and saw them running from one part of the castle to another! Might not be allowed now! Pop intoPalas Caffi when you’ve finished exploring the castle. Amazing ice cream with a view of the castle.

Castles of North Wales and Waterfalls are worth a look as you may not be far from some nice ones.

Look here at Conwy Falls cafe, nice walk behind it, short but demanding as its steep, also Fairy Glen at the other end of the road

If you want to visit any of the castles you will need to book on the Cadw website. You'll also need to book for Snowdon Railway.

Good point some are free so you can just walk in, this is in a stunning position, near the Llanberris rail way up Snowdon

The Snowdon Railway is only going part way up I believe?

WOW things book out fast in Wales, I guess its all the staycations....

What are the best towns to visit?

We really want to do some walks and see waterfalls etc.

We've booked the Forest Coaster and also a tour of the Llechwedd Deep Mine.
The Zip lines are all booked out as is the bounce below sadly.

Just did Aber falls today Its just on the coastal edge of the National park, Its just down the road from Conwy and Llandudno which are well worth a visit.
Its a 1.30 -2.30 hour walk in total parking can be difficult so best early or later in the day, or park in the village and walk up the hill.

I would do Aber early morning or after 5pm, spend the rest of the day between local beach and Conwy its a medieval fortified town with a castle etc, walk the walls for the best views and its free.
Llandudno is a Victorial Seaside resort, Pier, nice sea front, Great Orm Drive the toll road for best views.
Have a good look at this link as it shows the best places. Angel bay is fab if you get to see seals, and only 5 mins drive from Llandudno. Rhos On Sea is a small nice quiet resort 10 mins from Llandudno
