Robin Hood's Bay in August

DH, DD (12) and I have booked a cottage near Robin Hood's Bay for two weeks in August. Anyone know what places near by are open? Thanks

I think most places are open now.
Wildlife boat trips from Whitby.
Sea Life Centre at Scarborough.
Castle Howard gardens (not sure about house yet).
Take the North York Moors railway and get off part way for lovely walk.

Thanks. Are toilets open does anyone know?

Have a google as there used to be a very good fossil walk on the beach
