Preschooler activities in Norfolk

We are staying in Norfolk for a week in September.

We are taking DS 4 whose twin passions are trains and dinosaurs.

Our accommodation is in Yarmouth but willing to drive up to an hour for a good attraction

I've seen bewilderwood but it is only open weekends and we are staying Saturday - Saturday.

There's a dinosaur place near Norwich. Is that any good?

Any reviews and recommendations gratefully received

Merrivale Model Village is open and it has lots of model trains!
Great Yarmouth sea life centre
Pleasure wood Hills has some good rides for pre schoolers, including trains.
Pettitts Adventure Park is just amazing. There are at least two train rides.

Might be too far and she maybe a bit young but there's seal trips at Blakeney:

There's some steam trains within an hour or so like Mid-Norfolk railway.

Slightly outside your one hour travel time but only by around 5 mins, Thursford is great too.

Definitely go to the dinosaur park if your child loves dinosaurs it’s a great quality day out with lots to do.
There’s also the Bure Valley railway which is a smallish steam train departing from Wroxham which is the main broads village. You could combine a trip on the train with a walk around Wroxham which has shops and restaurants and lots of boats to see. Also just outside Wroxham is Wroxham barns which is also nice for a visit with small kids (petting zoo, crafts, playground, small rides including a train if it’s still there).
Kids though tend to love mooching around Yarmouth sea front where there is a land train running up and down and don’t miss the iconic snails ride at Joyland!

Dinosaur Adventure is brilliant for little, dinosaur-mad kids - my two absolutely loved it when they were that age. There's the Bure Valley steam railway in the Norfolk Broads. BeWilderwood is good - normally it's very busy in the school holidays, but should be okay in September. Look out for vouchers for the Sealife Centre in Yarmouth on the back of car park tickets - you often get 50% off if you're sharp-eyed. He might be a bit young for Pleasurewood Hills, but take a look at the rides.
