Hello, we're holidaying near Porthmadog in August (3 DCs 7 - 13). Fondly remember childhood stays in Anglesey so very excited to return to the area. What are your must sees? Any insight on what's likely to he open by last week of August? TIA

Portmeirion
Harlech Castle (not open at the moment)
Sygun Copper Mine (not open)
Parc Glynllifon
Rock pooling at Morfa Bychan beach
Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway

Welsh mountain zoo in Colwyn bay
Pila palas - Anglesy
fforest coaster at zip world - betws y coed
Glynllifon for woodland walks and interesting discoveries = near Penygroes and Caernarfon
Glasfryn parc - go karting, bowling etc - Porthmadog

most things have to be pre booked at the moment though so worth checking a few websites before your visit.

Glasfryn parc is excellent, you can head south to Harlech Castle and Barmouth.
Llanbedrog beach and walk up the head land
Look for the seals at Porth Dinellon
