Cornwall in October?

Having had two holidays cancelled this'year we'd like to book something for October half term. We dont much care about the weather but wondering if everything will be open in Cornwall in October? I know main attractions will be but can we expect to find a good amount of small shops, cafes etc. still open. Apologies if it's a daft question we dont really do UK holidays normally!

Yes you can. People live here all year round😄. And even the stuff that shuts for the winter is open in October half term...

Haha yes I appreciate people love there all year around, but I also know that lots of tourist businesses are seasonal so wanted to check in advance!

Hi no I haven't booked anything yet, just seeing how the next few weeks work out with restrictions being lifted before we commit! Is there anywhere you'd recommend?

We only ever go to Cornwall in October/November time. Quieter, cheaper to stay and beaches are much more dog friendly! I’d say almost all shops/pubs/cafes etc open. We go to North Cornwall, near Tintagel/Boscastle.

We've been twice in October half term in recent years and it's been lovely.

October half term is the very last part of the season. Most things will still be open then. Even things that shut down and non busy times would open up for half term!
