Edinburgh Hotels

I'm organising a weekend away for myself and 3 girlfriends to Edinburgh. We want to stay somewhere central, but not somewhere that will cost the earth. Rather spend our money on food and wine! Does anyone have any suggestions please??

We've stayed at Jury's Inn and the Premier Travel Inn in Morrison Street. Both fairly central.

dh stayed at these apartments recently, worked out cheaper than a hotel.

The Malmaison down at Leith is absolutely amazing and you can usually get some good deals - its probably £5 for a taxi to princes street, but there are some great bars and restuarants down at Leith now.

Oh thanks, I've booked the Jury's Inn on Jeffrey Street. It's apparently on a 5 min walk from the train station and looks ok plus it didn't cost too much. With our train and 2 nights hotel we've done the weekend for £90 each which I think is great!
