The Grand, Brighton

Yes, that's really near Bristol?

daffodilbrain · 06/03/2020 20:36

Thanks for your suggestion but Brighton is too far Smileand I find the grand a bit too traditional. Any more suggestions???

Cheltenham isn't too far and is easy to leave the car parked up and walk everywhere during your stay. Lovely part of the world to mooch around shops with good restaurants.
We went for a birthday weekend treat (without children!) and stayed at the Hotel du Vin. I remember we walked past lots of other nice-looking hotels in that area. Usually lots of Airbnb or HomeAway places too (as people book them for the Racing Festival).
If you're wanting to be near Bristol - what about other parts of the Cotswolds (like Cheltenham) either as a city break or country cottage Airbnb or normal b&b? x

...or across the water to Wales? Maybe Cardiff? Though I don't know of good places to stay. Have a look at Tripadvisor x

We're off to the Cotswolds in a lovely hotel spa in a market town so lots of shops to potter in Smile
