If booking.com our the wrong price on the website and I booked it, can I be refused at the hotel cos it's too cheap ?

Just that really, saw a bargain, I think someone has missed a zero off. Anyhow I've booked but it's 2 hrs away. Can I be refused because actually the going rate is xxx not xx?

You will be protected by Booking.com. The hotel owners can cancel your booking, but they would then be charged for you to find somewhere else to stay. Most likely they will just swallow their mistake and let you stay (while resenting you for booking it and kicking themselves for making a mistake that had cost them money)

Are you sure it's actually a mistake? How cheap was the booking?

I believe they can only be held to the terms of the booking if they money has already been taken from your bank account/credit card (actually cleared and not just held/pending)

It was actually £5.40 in a nice hotel with breakfast and it had a swimming pool. We went and came back and nobody questioned anything, result!
