St Ives in May..

Would St Ives be ok weather-wise in mid May? Also we don't drive so would there be enough to keep us amused for around five days? We are usually happy just pottering/walking/beach and I think there are a few arty things to do as well?

I wouldn’t make any promises to you on weather at any time of year in St Ives! It is very changeable, so you may have glorious sunshine and torrential rain in the same day (or in the same hour). It should be reasonably mild though.

I think there’s definitely enough to occupy you for 5 days - as well as a lot of commercial galleries there is Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth garden. There are some great walks too depending on much you like walking. And lots of lovely cafes and restaurants!
