Where should I stop?

Travelling back from Berwick-Upon-Tweed to derby tomorrow, where should I stop around half way back , I have a dog and 10 year old? Any ideas welcome please

Escape looks good but no dogs allowed unfortunately

I could come back along the west coast, so any ideas that side too considered

Clifton Park, Rotherham (4 miles from junction 33 of M1). There’s a Museum, adventure playground & skate park (largest free playground in Yorkshire!), adventure golf, cafe, icecream & burger vans, gardens, and decent toilets!

Yorkshire Sculpture Park(2 miles from junction 38 of M1). There’s a Young Explorers Hidden Myths Trail app to download on the YSP website. Several cafes and coffee stops are scattered about the park.
