Center parcs Woburn ‘fireworks’

We are off to Center parcs at end of Nov for the weekend and there will be a ‘pyrotechnics’ display on Sunday evening. We’ll be heading back home on Sunday night so just wondering if anyone had been to the pyrotechnic display before and if it was any good? Not sure of the difference to real fireworks...? Thanks

We saw them last year. You are expected to turn up at least 30/45 mins before the gig starts. You have to walk along by the hotel then across the bridge to the beach, you can’t go from the parcmarket all the way along the waters edge to the beach.

The early arrivals managed to sit on the ‘benches’ (for want of a better word!) at the back of the beach and the entertainment beforehand was very good - jugglers and acrobats in good costumes.

Kids were starting to get restless and were certainly for them when they started. We should have taken bribes - maybe sweets or popcorn, hot chocolate or something.

The display lasted a very long time and we were all very impressed. It was a good event.

Ah thank you that’s so helpful! Sounds worthwhile staying for them... with bribes!!

Not been to Woburn but have sent hem at Sherwood and Whinfell, they are really good. At both of those Santa comes round in a speed boat at the end which my kids love every year
