Where to go

So I want to plan a trip or two for next year. Must do butlins as littlest loves it and haven’t been for 2 years.
We want to return to Dorset, but also really want to visit Cornwall. I can’t afford too many trips so I was thinking Dorset for a few days and then on to Cornwall. I have a lovely cottage we rented before in Dorset but Cornwall I have no idea where to go.

Other places I’m interested in- Lake District, new forest and Yorkshire. I think Yorkshire is probably more of a weekend trip than a holiday with kids.

Does anybody have suggestions. Money is tight. I’m open to cottages, caravan parks are always good for the kids too.

Dorset is great - Maiden Castle, Dorchester Dinosaur Museum, Portland Bill, Abbotsbury Swannery, Hardy Memorial, Lyme Regis, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle.

Cornwall is brilliant and very child friendly. when we visit we stay in South East Cornwall around the Looe area HERE its the quieter bit of Cornwall with some lovely safe beaches and loads to do plus we always take a few trips into Plymouth and area as its nearby.
