Luxury Spa Break Recommendations

DH and I want to go away for a one night spa break. Due to childcare , ideally it needs to be no more than 1.5 hours away from Buckingham.

I would like somewhere like Aqua Sana where you get in your robe and slippers and stay in them all day (including lunch!), lots of different rooms/experiences, including relaxation lounges (love the water beds at Woburn) but I'd like somewhere where we can go the room to get changed for dinner in the hotel.

We've done Whittlebury, The Grove and Center Parcs before. Ragdale looks good but is booked for the date we want to go.

Happy to spend up to £400 as it's a special occasion.

Where would you recommend?

Pennyhill Park ticks all those boxes I think.

The Genting Hotel

This place is nice. Much smaller than Center Parcs but lovely fscilities. www.ardencote.com/spa/spa-breaks/

Another vote for Pennyhill Park.

Yes Pennyhill Park here too. Only rival I've found in the area is Woburn CP.

Possibly more like 2 hours but Moddershall Oaks near Stoke on Trent. Amazing food and a lovely spa. Nicer than Pennyhill imo

Thank you everyone. I've had a very quick look at them and they all look lovely. Pennyhill says that part of it will be closed in a couple of weeks time for two months (we want to go during that time), so not sure whether to keep that one for a future visit, when everything is fully open.
Or will be be amazing anyway?

Sopwell house spa in St Albans has had a recent renovation supposed to be lovely

I was also looking at Aqua sans which seems to be the grown up version of centre parks. Is it any good.?.
