UK breaks recommendations

Looking for some recommendations of places:

Where would be nice to go if we Want a cabin or cottage type place with a hot tub with nice walks to go on around the local area or other sort of things to do? In October half term , (we have a 10 year old to keep amused)

Forgot to mention we are Greater London way so not tooo far a drive if possible

The New Forest - lots of nice walks and plenty of days out for a 10yo. Beautiful in the autumn.

Have you seen these Forest Holidays

We stayed in a cabin at their Keldy site in North Yorkshire a few years ago and it was lovely.
