CENTER PARCS

We are off to Center Parcs tomorrow and as the weather is so hot it's had me thinking about whether it's doable having the patio door open or not. I know it sounds daft but to all of you who have been you get loads of wildlife on the doorstep. Muntjac, squirrels, geese, ducks, swans. I wondered if you had your patio door open if any of them would come in as they are used to people. I have stood on the patio with my daughter before feeding the animals and they do come quite close so it got me thinking. Has anyone done this? Not to mention lots of insects, mosquitoes etc because being surrounded by 🌲 also .

BUM SEX

HeyMonkey · 25/08/2019 21:49

Yesssss, I got in there first.

moobar · 25/08/2019 21:53

My sister and I let a swan in when we were kids. Mum was very very Stressed!

It will be fine, they might come in but if they do they will be very pet to venture that close.

matahairyy · 25/08/2019 21:54

Oh fgs. Use some punctuation

GinLimeandLemonade · 25/08/2019 22:00

The squirrels might come in if you're sat quietly but will scarper if you're walking around/make a noise. We always had the door open on hot days (only when we're in the chalet obviously)

We did have a very persistent swan try to get in once, it was a bit scary actually because they're massive! 😂 We had to shut the doors and the windows to get it to give in and leave 🙈

(We only go to Sherwood though so don't know how bold the wildlife is at other CP)

HeyMonkey I only clicked into this thread to see who would get it in first!

stucknoue · 25/08/2019 22:17

Take mosquito spray and citronella oil then!

JamesonCask · 25/08/2019 22:19

@HeyMonkey is centre parcs known for that or am I missing something?

IfIShouldFallFromGraceWithGod · 25/08/2019 22:20

Don't worry about punctuation and leave the doors open
It will be lovely

HappyParent2000 · 26/08/2019 06:28

Open the doors but don’t leave the room too long or it becomes a zoo.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Even the daft ones 🤣. We are going to Elveden. My daughter is taking a friend so should be interesting lol. I'm just hoping we don't get caught in any bank holiday traffic. Enjoy the sun and last of the summer holidays everyone ☺️👍

@JamesonCask Go look in Classics, there was an early MN days thread about Centre Parcs being code for bum sex.

HeyMonkey · 26/08/2019 08:20
