Bosinver no car?

Hello I’ve booked me, partner and 2yr old a week at Bosinver farm cottages at beginning of September - we won’t have a car (we’re Londoners who can’t even drive..) and they assure me that’s fine but if we do want to go off site for a day trip does anyone have any suggestions of what to do / how to get there? We’re pretty fit, happy to take trains and buses but ideally not for hours at a time - and wd love to visit a nice village / small town, maybe weather permitting the beach? Don’t know the SW at all really, tips gratefully received!

Have you seen this? www.bosinver.co.uk/explore/days-without-a-car

Thanks for this, yes I have some good ideas but it’s actually mainly directions to the general travel website for the Sw rather than detail re from what stop to what station, how long things take etc

Rent some bikes?

you might consider taking a couple of taxi rides to places you specifically want to go to. not difficult to do if you book in advance and not that expensive either. public transport in cornwall does need a lot of planning and there are some places you cant get to easily using it. might be an idea to work out two or three daytrips you want to do and see if a local taxi firm will do a deal for you.
