Is my first one. Will have a baby!

We like quality over quantity, lots of nature and to be clean and feel like an escape.

Which one would you recommend?

Elveden would be my bet, very flat so good for prams/pushchairs (certainly compared to Woburn or Whinfell) and lots of wildlife. The pool is nice and big and the kids area is really nice.

Where do you live? You can’t beat Sherwood IMO.

We love Elvedon and Sherwood

When do you plan to go?

I've been to Whinfell and Sherwood so can only comment on those.

WF is better in winter imho because the dome covers the whole village centre. So if the weather is poor there's a huge space to keep dry in.

On the downside in good weather you're trapped in a somewhat shopping mall environment once at the village centre.

On the whole I probably prefer Sherwood. There's more walking to do however as the various activity centres are much more distributed around the site that at WF, but it also means more "walking/cycling in the woods"

Overall if you're happy to do more walking and be equipped for rain, I'd choose Sherwood (especially if your baby is old enough to put in a burley bee - which will keep them warm and dry and is great to put your shopping in).

We've only been to longleat and love it there. Looked at the others online but always gone to LL as it just had the most to offer especially the spa and pool

Sorry just to add re: quality v quantity my view is that there's no real difference in that respect. As a business they are trying to sell a consistent experience.

The only comment I've seen that might impact your choice is wrt Woburn (the newest site) where it's quite a bit smaller than the other Parcs. Not been there though and have no idea if being "new" makes it in any way better but maybe someone who has might comment.

I agree about Woburn, as lovely as it is (everything looks very fresh) it's tiny compared to the others, there isn't really anywhere to explore behind the lodges like you get at the others, and certainly not as much wildlife. The pool is also smaller, they seem to have put more emphasis on the slides/rides which isn't any use to people with babies.

Have only been to Woburn but we liked it - we found plenty to do with a 2 year old, and we got around with bikes fine (forgot to pack the buggy), even though I was 36 weeks pregnant at the time! Spa was very nice too.
