Butlins advice

I'm trying to book, well plan a break to butlins minehead for Easter.

It's a trial run for going abroad when DD will be 7 and we will have a 5 month old.

The main thing that's confusing me is the dining plans? Are they good value for money?

I'm planning on booking a room rather than an apartment with a kitchen and we will be going for 3 nights.

I'd really appreciate any advice!

Thanks

I’m sure Minehead at Easter is always booked up with the Spring Harvest Christian event.

If you can at another time, do it. Minehead is lovely and my dc grew up going there every year. We went once to try and it and they wouldn’t go anywhere else after that!

My tip is to book a privately owned caravan onsite instead of booking through butlins directly. The prices are about the same with the same stuff included but you get more space for your money and parking right by your caravan.

Can't comment on minehead but went to Bognor in May and did the dine around dining option and thought it was very good all waiter service not rushed and good food

I would go for an apartment so you can SC for breakfast and lunch and eat 'out' each evening. That way you have a fridge for drinks and snacks too. Go for silver or higher, not the standard room or apartment though.
