We went last year and we got wristbands at check in (Gold class, separate check in if that's relevant). Why?

Because they were saying on our booking we need to pay extra for them??

Ah, did you book with Sun holidays? They charge extra for 'entertainment passes'. Yes, last time I went we did get wristbands and yes, you had to show them to get into the venues in the evening.
