If you been to CP recently do you know if:

  1. can we park our car at the car park around 7:30-8am on arrival day and go to explore the site? My husband will drive us there and will need to head off to work and I don’t drive.
  2. can we check in before 3pm if we don’t need to drive to the village? Like 1pm maybe?
  3. if we have an overnight guest (9pm-8am), do we really need to register them/pay extra? Are there any checks when people enter the site at 9pm?
  4. what else is available free of charge except for the pool? I’ve seen somewhere kids disco mentioned but didn’t find it on CPs website.
  5. since we booked our holiday the price went down quite substantially. Any luck we get by calling them and asking for refund of the difference? Many thanks

  1. You might be able to access the facilities before check in time but I’m not sure you could that early
  2. You can’t check into the accommodation early
  3. They don’t really check who comes in that late but they might register a different car
  4. Not much
  5. Nope

The children's disco was definitely on Wednesday and Thursday when we went recently.

You don't be able to check into the accommodation early regardless and you can't guarantee they won't check re an overnight visitor.

The pool, beach and playgrounds are free.

Oh and you can arrive anytime from 10am onwards on your check in day, not before.

And they won't refund the difference, that's just always the risk with booking holidays. I'm sure you'll have a great time, it's a lovely relaxing break.

  1. can we park our car at the car park around 7:30-8am on arrival day and go to explore the site? My husband will drive us there and will need to head off to work and I don’t drive. no, you can’t check in to the site until 10am and can’t get in to your villa until late afternoon
  2. can we check in before 3pm if we don’t need to drive to the village? Like 1pm maybe? as above, any time from 10am, but no villa access until later
  3. if we have an overnight guest (9pm-8am), do we really need to register them/pay extra? Are there any checks when people enter the site at 9pm? they will not be able to get on to site unless they are on your booking or have a day pass
  4. what else is available free of charge except for the pool? I’ve seen somewhere kids disco mentioned but didn’t find it on CPs website. soft play in restaurants, parks, walks, small lakeside beach area
  5. since we booked our holiday the price went down quite substantially. Any luck we get by calling them and asking for refund of the difference? nope. One of the “come back soon” offers they give you is price guarantee so I doubt it’s offered to anyone or it wouldn’t be a perk for rebooking.

Oh OP ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Sorry but you clearly havent dealt with Centre Parcs before!

  1. No. You can't wander round the village till 10am.
  2. Nope. Unless you pay for early check in they won't let you in.
3.If you have someone arriving late at night they will ask for a name and wrist band. Unless they are on the booking form they arent getting in.
  1. Swimming, the parks, the mini beach. EVERYTHING else you will have to pay for.
  2. Absolutely no chance. That's the gamble.

I’m a CentreParcs veteran, having been going since mid 1990s.

I really should write up all our saving tips etc as we know what is good and not good value etc and what you can and cannot get away with plus all the key things to bring.

However I am sure someone has done a better write up somewhere already...
