Centre Parcs is more expensive but in my experience (loads of centre Parcs trips but only once to Butlins so not much experience there) has better quality accommodation, a better pool and ‘nicer’ surroundings but Butlins had more free entertainment it on especially for younger children.

Butlins is more kids friendly and a bit on the rougher side. Centre park is more older kids but nicer.

Centre Parcs

We had a work conference once at Butlins, we had to organise to get salad from outside.

Chalk and Cheese. Both good in totally different ways, Little kids love Butlins as I feel its more geared up for them 10+ Centre parks but its not cheap

Centre Parks, only been to Butlins once & we all came home with horrific stomach bug, we think from eating in the Burger King concession as that was the only place we bought food.

They’re completely different holidays, IMO.

How old are your kids?

Can't affordcomment on Centre Parks but we love Butlins!
Lots of free entertainment, free fairground rides, free swimming pool with cool slides, good selection of places to eat and drink, not as rough as it used to be.

Never been to either. Center parcs too expensive. Butlins never appealed. There are some nice Haven and Parkdean sites. Some a bit too big for my liking, and best avoided.
