New Forest trip dates

We want to go to the New Forest and ride bikes. We don't drive so we plan to go to Brockenhurst, but I can't seem to find anywhere to search by date to see when is cheapest to visit. (I know to avoid the last weekend of July for the New Forest show). We can make a lot of dates in July / late August or September. Any ideas on what site I can search to work out the cheapest dates or to see availability of all places over a month (instead of only seeing what's available on a given random date range)? Any input on places to stay is also welcome, preferably a 1 bedroom 2 bed AirBNB, we need a kitchen/ living room to go to while the baby sleeps.

Have you tried the brockenhurst tourist office and you could type in b&b or whatever you are looking for.

Sandy balls park is near and great for families.are you getting the train to brockenhurst. Ringwood us near and has more to do especially if the weather turns bad.

@HappyHammy - it has a search based on preferred dates unfortunately.
Sandy balls park doesn't seem to be readily accessible for us by public transport, some very long bus journeys suggested, so I don't think we would enjoy getting there.
Ringwood is nice but isn't as good for bike hire, so it's really Brockenhurst that we want to stay at.

I know there is a bike hire in Burley if that helps.

I think you'll find September cheaper when the children are back at school. Or early July. That's how it tends to work.

Also Airbnb shows you prices over the month so you can pin point the cheapest dates by a simple search and looking at the calendar.
