Hi my son is off to uni this September.
Are there any cook books you could recommend, really easy stuff

there used to be a brilliant book for students called How To Boil An Egg. Literally started from basics. If I remember rightly she refused to tell you how to cook parsnips because she didn't think they were a veg fit for human consumption.
