I've been there, though not that familiar with all the different parts.
Lovely part of the World though Smile

I've stayed in a yurt there and it was one of best weekends away we've ever had!

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago. Do an advanced search. Lots of useful info.

Where are you thinking of going?

We just got back from a long weekend on Anglesey. Even though the weather wasn't great we had a lovely time. We stayed at the very beautiful Lligwy Bay in our caravan. You've got to get the weather really for Anglesey because there's not a lot else to do but there's an amazing beach bar at Lligwy. They have live music at the weekends and a full bar plus they sell teas and coffees and delicious cakes.

Oh my sister lives on Anglesey and it makes me jealous every time we visit! There's a very good climbing centre if you're into that kind of thing? Lots of outdoor stuff. And it's very windy even when it's sunny! It is beautiful though!

DS has been a few times with his grandparents in their caravan to Lligwy. He's 14 and happy to go again this year. Had a couple of sessions stand up paddle boarding last year. They go in the sea, for coastal walks, spot sealife and have fish & chips. There's a good National Trust property for a rainy day.

Op... I LOVE Anglesey and wish I could move there... we stay in either Trearddur Bay or Cameas Bay... Trearddur to me has more restaurants to eat out in at night... black seal and sea Croft are lovely something a little cheaper inn on the bay... I'd recommend booking if you go as gets busy...
we stayed in many houses before all gorgeous (are more expensive) also stayed in Anglesey bungalows... in an excellent area facing crag y mor (most gorgeous house!!) lots to see and do there foul farm is lovely sea zoo and south stack with the light house and puffins!!
