Just wondering how many holidays everyone goes on a year?

Zero.

We aim for 2 holidays abroad, one with the kids and one just us. But we're doing Florida next year which we are doing all on site, so just the 1 holiday for us this year and next year to afford it. We usually do a short UK break too.

babycakes1010 · 30/05/2019 18:14

We have 2 a year

Wimbledonwomble · 01/06/2019 07:49

2-3. One main holiday, usually abroad but not always, plus 1 or 2 short breaks.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 05/06/2019 13:56

Usually manage 5 days abroad but try to have lots of long weekends away in the UK (Thursday-Sunday) across the year so it feels like a lot more.

JudgeRindersMinder · 05/06/2019 13:57

2 or 3 abroad, usually 2 of about 5 days and 1 for a couple of weeks. We don’t tend to do weekends away due to work and sport commitments

Queenofpi · 05/06/2019 14:09

At least one week abroad (visiting my mum) and 2-3 weekends/short breaks, usually in the UK.

UAEMum · 05/06/2019 14:12

We have 1 long haul holiday a year, usually 3-4.weeks then lots of weekends away during the year in country (we are in UAE)

mumma24 · 08/06/2019 23:01

I’m lucky if I get one every 5 years

Chickoletta · 08/06/2019 23:05

We have a foreign holiday in the summer (France this year) and a few short UK breaks glamping and/or visiting friends.

Hollowvictory · 10/06/2019 09:11

1 x 2weeks long haul
3 x 1week short haul/uk
1 x long weekend eg center parcs
10 weekends away uk
We always use our full holiday entailment and buy more days off.
We love holidays!

mockorangey · 10/06/2019 09:19

The last few years it's been:
10 days - 2 weeks visiting family in USA (not really a holiday)
1 week cottage break in UK
1 weekend camping

ValleyoftheHorses · 10/06/2019 09:32

Usually a week just the 3 of us and a fortnight with my parents. This year we’re considering an extra week the 3 of us in October.
We have 4 long weekends in U.K. also.

JustMarriedBecca · 27/06/2019 22:01

We try and go away once a month, even if it's a one night city break, getting there Saturday morning, staying over Sunday and coming back Sunday night.

Proper holidays of a week of more - 2 or 3. With 3-4 longer weekend breaks. Usually UK. I hate all inclusive's abroad and our kids are too young to do the type of holidays we enjoyed pre kids. They need to learn to carry their own stuff and then there will be no stopping us!

Whatthefoxgoingon · 27/06/2019 22:04

We go 4-5 times a year. At least 2 long haul.

neversleepagain · 27/06/2019 22:08

One abroad, one in the UK, 3 visits to London for a few days, 3 or 4 UK long weekends.
