Hi , we’re thinking about the Scottish Higlands in Aug would it be suitable for teens ? In things to do and see

You're fine if they like walking, fishing, bird/wildlife watching etc ... and don't need to be permanently attached to their phones.

I just got back from there. It's fine if they like outdoor stuff, otherwise not much else to do! Some places are pretty remote and don't even have much in the way of shops etc.

There's a bit more going on further east in the Cairngorms, around Aviemore etc. Some "go apey" type things, a few mountain bike trail centres etc.

or you could hang around Fort William a bit further south where there's also mountain biking etc. I think FW is a bit of a dump and it's very busy but more for teens.
