Anyone local could tell me the best beaches for families in Norfolk? Looking to visit this summer

Brancaster is a large flat beach with golden sand. It’s pretty and unspoilt. It is part of the Brancaster Estate which is now owned by the National Trust and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are toilets, a beach kiosk and plenty of parking.
Sheringham is a stony beach with sand and rock pools at low tide. Colourful beach huts, toilets and parking on the clifftop. There are cafes, arcades and steam train rides in the pretty seaside town.
Holme is another sandy beach big enough and far enough off the beaten track to never get too busy, even in the middle of summer.

Old Hunstanton beach is lovely, the sand dunes are especially nice. And the Ancient Mariners pub does great grub

Holkham and Wells are the best. Both accessed through a lovely wooded walk. Wells has some fab restaurants and cafes as well, and you can walk from the beach into town along a big hill thing, or get the miniature train.

We had a brilliant holiday in Wells-next-the-Sea one year.
