We are thinking of going away to Devon this summer with my 2 and 5 year old. Can anyone recommend any places to stay? Possibly a holiday park with a pool. Thank you.

We are going to Devon for the week tomorrow! We always stay at Devon Cliffs. It a haven site, one of the best ones. We love it, but we don't book through haven, we book the caravan privately as its much cheaper.

Ruda Holdiay Park has a lot going for it. A good one with small kids.

Ladram Bay - has a pool, outdoor splash zone, beach and so much more. Lovely surrounding area too.

Finlake has been refurbished recently and my sister loved it there last year... www.haulfrynholidays.co.uk/our-parks/south-west-england/finlake

Woolacombe Bay holiday park has lovely views and a great outdoor pool and water slide.

Would second ruda....had lots of lovely family hols there when my dd was little. It always felt safe for little ones and I can't remember ever seeing rowdy crowds.

Woolacombe definitely. All the parks there are good for that age range. Woolacombe Bay and Twitchen in partic have a free double decker to take you to two. My LOs love it!

There are sites such as ukcaravans4hire and directholidayhomes where you can book caravans direct with the owner. I've had some great deals this way. They don't include the entertainment passes though if you are going somewhere that needs them so you'll need to factor them in to the cost.

Oakland's, near Sidmouth. Lovely sight but no pool. Ladram Bay, my favourite place but quite expensive.
