We are spending a week in Anglesey in the summer and will have a 1 year old with us. Any recommend activities that are baby friendly beyond the beach?

We went last easter for a week with our then 4 year old. He enjoyed the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Nature place with butterflies and a few other animals, Beaumaris Castle was nice too. They're all family friendly and although your one year old might not be into the animals or the castle they're nice family days out. Have fun.

Thanks @GriseldaChop we'd like to eat out too - I think Dylan's in Menai bridge is family friendly but any recommendations?

Most places to eat out are family friendly. What part of Anglesey are you staying at? It's a big island and I doubt you'd be wanting to drive too far from where you're staying to eat out with a toddler.

@parrotfashionista this list of child friendly restaurants around Benllech is on Trip Advisor. Might help?

The National Trust place has lovely gardens and views.

We were in Moelfre and could recommend the pub there, can't remember it's name but it's right by the sea. We didn't eat in Benllech but there were def places to eat there which looked fine, there was also a nice place for fish and chips where you could sit between Benllech and Moelfre.
