Hi everyone .

My son will be 13 at the beginning of September . He has a real thing about treehouses and we would love to book a weekend's stay in a treehouse style accommodation.
I have been looking online and have found a few but I would love to hear from anyone who has stayed in one and if you would recommend it ?
Ideally within a 3 hour drive of Newcastle upon Tyne .
Thank you x

Center Parcs have treehouse accommodation but it is very pricey. Looks amazing though!

Someone I did a bit of work for had, think grand design type houses, he did the tree houses at Alton Towers for Merlin and I'm sure he'd also done some at Alnwick

I’ve always wanted to stay at this one in the Kielder, it looks amazing.

My friend stayed in one and although it was in the summer she said they wouldn't do it again. It was quite scary and spooky at night apparently and constantly moved and made weird noises so nobody got a good night's sleep.
