We have a day to spend in Cambridge with dc2 (14) and two dogs.
Any suggestions? We don't know the area at all.
Thanks

Walk by the river to the village of Grantchester for pub lunch.

CamBoats do public boat cruises www.camboats.co.uk/pcruise.htm and it says that well behaved dogs are welcome. Scudamore’s Punts do guided tours by punt and they also take dogs.

What kind of things does DC 2 like?

Cambridge was my local city for a long time, I think the dogs will complicate your day tbh. Plenty of fab places to visit but not with dogs.

thanks everyone.
It's going to be a long day and can't put one of our dogs in kennels (long story) so really they have to come with us.
DC2 is into theatre and singing and shopping. Has SEN so museums/colleges are out sadly.
Walk by the river would work, fun hands on exhibitions would work, eating is always a winner (and necessary of course!)
Boat/punt tour might work too, thats a good idea.

Would your DC like the Centre for Computer History?

It's a little, but walkable, way out of the town centre. It has loads of working computers, arcade machines and video game.

Is the computer centre hands on? She'd probably like that.

Yes it is. You can play with a lot of the exhibits. It’s not so formal really and used to children.
