Brighton or Bournemouth ?

For a weekend with a couple of mates.. which would you choose.

Depends on your preference for weekend away, style, your age...?

Brighton is the more buzzing of the two, has a good club / pub scene, LGBTQ, comedy, arts, etc. Plus the Lanes are great for shopping.

Bournemouth is more old people or students really, but still has some good options for nights out.

Bournemouth beach is sandy whilst Brighton is shingle.

Neither. Brighton is pretty grotty. Bournemouth is ok but not much better.
