My mum and stepfather are taking my sister for her birthday. She loves it there. She has OCD (really badly) so has no friends of he own.

I know about the Pelirocco (I love it but bit too grungy rock n roll for ma me thinks)

I've found the Drake and The Square and they look lovley - anyone know them?

Any more lovel hotel reccomendations, that aren't the Grand?

I second Hotel Du Vin - fab, I had my wedding there (very small one) and the rooms are amazing. We had 2 roll top baths overlooking brighton beach with an old telescope to look at ships and spy on people . Huge wet room and real goose down duvets and pillows. My dh got us a weekend there for xmas but couldn't fit it in before we moved to s'pore

The Granville does look fab doesn't it. I've told Ma to book the Balcony room for her and the West Pier or Pavillion room for sister.

If she goes for that one that is. The Hotel du Vin also sounds and loos amazing.

I feel a trip to Brighton coming on!

No to Drakes.

Inlaws went there two weeks ago and said it was SOOOO overated and the staff were rude and miserable.

Du vin gets my vote!

WideWebWitch · 14/06/2007 19:10

Oh really tiredemma?
