Center Parcs trailers

Hi, we’re off to CP in a couple of weeks with our 4 yo and 1 1/2 yo. We’ve booked a trailer for our bikes. Is the trailer suitable for our youngest to nap in? He usually only naps once, but don’t fancy coming back to the lodge or taking a pram! Also can you push the trailers around inside and outside the complex if he does fall asleep? Any help or suggestions Smile

Have definitely seen children napping in the trailers. But no, you won't be able to unhitch them and drag them around inside.

I'm not sure it would be a particularly comfortable place to nap unless you padded it out with blankets etc as it's just a little bench seat in there. Doesn't recline at all. And as mentioned above you can't take it indoors. Which CP are you going to? Some are smaller than others so you may not want/need to use bikes and trailer all the time.

Also, when you say "our bikes" do you mean your own from home? They don't hitch to any bike so you'll need one of the CP bikes too I think.

My son was fast asleep before we even put him in the trailer we wanted to rent, and he didn't wake up. Loved a snooze in there Grin

Well we never got the trailor as DD was used to the more seat on the back of the bike type. She used to regularly nap in that on the way to crèche in the mornings on DH's bike (6 miles) and I'd often pass to see either 2 arms out giving directions (DH's with her little one copying!), or her head down and helmet resting on his back with her sound asleep.

(I was never able to do that cycle, and especially not with DD - we did it a lot by public transport, but for a good while I had very tight timetabling meaning I had to drive to get from my office to crèche by closing time).

Thanks everyone! We’re off to Elveden and are hiring their bikes and trailer. Maybe we’ll ride in morning and take pram pm for his nap. I did wonder if they were just bench seats and not allowed indoors - at least this helps me plan.
