Lands End

I'm in Cornwall at present with my two sons.

I've always wanted to go to Lands End, but I don't really understand what the 'attraction' is all about. I want to see the end of the country, take some photos, take in the views, I've been told not to bother with the attraction, even looking on their website I can't make out what it's all about.

Was down that way today at Sennen cove and drove up to Lands End, but they wanted £5 just to park so as it was late in the day I turned back.

Can anyone tell me what exactly is in that building and whether it's at all worth going in so I can at least tick it off my list so to speak.

We walked there once. I forget what's in the building but the whole thing seemed tacky. There were signposts giving distances to various places. I think you had to pay for photos.
We were so relieved when we discovered Sennen.

It is very worthy going. They have the Wallace and gromit studios, many miniatures of the films, your son can even try his first traces as a cartoonist. They have some another attractions that is also nice to go with kids. Sorry i cant remember everything as I went about 3 years ago. But being there I would definitely go specially with kids.

They've ruined Lands End. Used to just wander all round there as a child. Park at Sennen and it's a beautiful walk from there (and free). Try to enjoy the cliffs and ignore the rest.

Go to Lizard instead. It's the southernmost point and it's so much nicer than Land's End.
