Legoland hotel recommendations

After a cheap but decent hotel to stay with when visiting Legoland in October half term - also hoping to explore the town and park so somewhere walking distance to all these would be preferable to eg Slough

For me plus DS2 so needs to be family friendly.

The Holiday Inn in Slough is good, only 4 miles from the park

There’s a travel lodge in Windsor town centre and a holiday in close to the town centre. (Alma road)

Oh hahaha sorry didn't read it properly! The hotel in Slough is ok though if you litetally want somewhere to stay. If you are wanting to go out and about in the evening then Windsor itself is better but I always struggle to get in, the holiday inn in Windsor has very few family rooms unfortunately
