Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for what to do this weekend in Worcester that will amuse a 7 year old and a 72 year old. ... taking grandad away for belated fathers day. Prefer sat to be in the centre but ideas for Sunday can be further afield. Thank you Flowers

The town is pleasant for a wander around.

There's a fantastic traditional Cornish pasty shop, that also does sausage rolls and pizza, there are nice cake shops and desert places, and the river is nice for a stroll and usually ice cream stands by the river. Cripplegate Park is in the town centre across the bridge.

Worcester woods country park again is fantastic for 7 year olds and is quite accessible and seating dotted around, there's a pleasant cafe there too.

West Midlands Safari Park is nearby but quite pricey, also little owl farm park is closer and supposed to be nice.

There's a fairly nice pub called the Barn Owl outside of the town centre with an outdoor seating area and kids playground, the food is reasonably priced.
