Hi

I am trying to plan a break for 6 adults 2 teens and 4 under tens.

Initially was planning to go to Spain. But now a few are unavailable to go

Now we have decided to stay in the uk. Looking for a quiet break yet something for the children to do.

Any suggestion will be great fully received Grin

Sherwood Castle Holiday Forest has lots to do on site and locally. Our kids enjoyed the mountain bike circuit, disc-golf and adventure play area. We also had a go at the crazy golf and archery and spent lots of time in the pool. They have several other activities which we didn't have time to try, such as rifle shooting, snorkelling, fencing and badminton.
We visited Sherwood Castle and nearby Go-Ape treetop trail. We also saw an advert for some quad biking and paintball nearby but didn't get the chance to go. Slightly further afield, there's Twycross Zoo and Alton Towers.
If there's enough availability when you book, you can choose whether you want a woodland lodge or a lakeside lodge.
