Farm holiday recommendations

Hi,

I wondered if anyone could recommend a holiday where children can help out with farm animals. I remember a former colleague raving about a fantastic holiday they had years ago where they stayed on a farm and their young children had a fab time helping out as part of the holiday with collecting eggs, feeding the animals etc.

Does anyone know of such a place? We are in the North so that would be the preferred location but open to all suggestions.

Thanks

when ours were little, they really enjoyed wringworthy cottages. its near to Looe so might be too far but it is the nearer and quieter bit of Cornwall not right down the end. They have animal feeding twice a day and have an outdoor swimming pool and a playbarn on site. You could also have a look at the farmstays website for other ideas.
