Driving up to Glasgow from London with 1year old, planning on stopping in Lancaster for few days, recommendations for child friendly hotels

In Lancaster and also Glasgow please. Have spent the last week looking into hotels and need to book something soon. We are travelling early -mid June.

Hi we break the journey at the holiday inn. It's nothing special to look at but they have a lovely pool (v warm and quiet) and have always been child friendly to us.
