Can anyone recommend a very nice place to stay (either a hotel or rental property) on the Western Isles. Looking for somewhere for a family of 4. Good views and comfort top of our list.

That’s a large area you are talking about, many very varied islands. What sort of criteria do you have, in terms of destination, activities, budget, remoteness etc?

Hi
Just a quick note to say thanks for the replies. I will do a bit more research on where I want to go and then post again.
I do appreciate you responding. Serin, that looks fantastic and like the type of place we would love.

Where? This is a good website if you fancy Mull - www.isleofmullcottages.com/

Colonsay. The hotel there is very family friendly, the island is amazing and then dotted around are loads of self catering cottages. Can't recommend it highly enough ( and unlike mull hardly any midges!!)
