We've had a tough few months and I would like to get away with my family for a few days in Feb half term. Can't really afford to go abroad so thinking somewhere UK based where we could have a good time and have the opinion of some relax time with some stuff to do with the DC.
Don't mind a drive (we live in Brighton now) and the DC will be 2.5 and 5.

How about Norfolk? There are fanastic beaches, also Bewilderwood is great for the little ones. Norwich is a lovely city to visit and has a great castle, with events on at half term.

I'd recommend staying somewhere like Cromer (seaside) and then visiting the Broads, the beaches on the North coast (Holkham) and Norwich.
