I finally persuaded DH and the DCs (or rather I booked it without discussing it with them 
) to go to Salcombe this summer and we had a fabulous time (they prefer the guaranteed sunshine and golf courses in Portugal).
I'd like to book snore week for next summer and although we could just go back to Salcombe, I think it wouldn't be nice to visit somewhere else.
Any recommendations gratefully received.
