Asking for advice please...
It would have been my mum's late mums 90th birthday on Saturday 30th September. Sadly she passed away 40 years ago so it's a sad anniversary.
My mum loves cilla and there is the new cilla live show in Milton Keynes that night. I've booked us s night away as a surprise.
We are city based and wish to stay close and have between 12 and 5 on Sunday to eat somewhere nice and shop.

Any locals have any ideas on where to go and what to do?

Thank you x

TheCentre MK is the place to go for shopping if you're looking for high street shops. It's all under cover with plenty of eateries such as Patisserie Valerie, Wagamamas, Jamie Oliver et al.

I don't know if there is anything recommendable away from there.

For more eating, have a look at Xscape.

The holiday inn express at silken lake is lovely ( gets a big noisy on a weekend though) and you get a breakfast in the price
We struggle to get decent food in my sontend to just use Nando's or Wagamama...sorry
