Hotels in Blackpool

It's my husbands 40th in November & as his present, I want to pay for him & 5 of his old school friends to go to Blackpool for the weekend (over the years they've had a few stag dos there so they enjoy it!).

I'm therefore looking for a hotel that's clean & of a decent standard & central to everything. Any recommendations?

[I've looked on Trip Advisor but just not sure!]

I have come on looking for recommendations for Blackpool..Hilton is too expensive for me though in school holidays..Any cheaper suggestions.
