Hi, just wanting to know. I now live in NZ (from UK) and the biological father of my son lives in the UK. For 7yrs, he had been paying maintenance with no issues but now we live in NZ the CSA stopped maintenance saying there are no longer abliged in collecting maintenance due to us living outside of the EU. As we live in a commonwealth country I am able to go through the court system to reastablish maintenance. My question is, the biological father has not had to pay maintenance for the past year, once I apply for the maintenance to be reastablished, can I also ask for back dated payments?
