Would like to book a last minute break to somewhere with amazing views and nice walks. Any ideas? Coastal or inland, open to any ideas! Smile

Northumberland but not just the coast! Hadrians Wall has some fab views as does the Pennines. Everyone overlooks south Northumberland and they shouldn't! Envy

Didn't mean to put that face!

Where are you in the country OP, how far would you travel, how long do you want to go for and what is your budget? Also is it just you and DP or you and the DC's or extended family and what sort of accommodation are you thinking I.e swanky hotel, mid range hotel, gorgeous cottage, pod, caravan, camping etc.

Family of 4, self catering cottage. Will drive anywhere! We went to Wales last year and the landscape was amazing. Want somewhere green and hilly and away from it all but with nice towns to explore too.
Thank you everyone for all the ideas, will start working my way through them! Smile

Another vote for the West coast of Scotland - especially around the Oban, Fort William and GlenCoe area. Smile
